Casual Elegance by the Fire, Mendon NY
About this project
The owners of this newly refurbished restaurant in the charming town of Mendon, NY, wanted to provide their customers with an inviting and fresh new patio space. An old sidewalk and flower beds were pulled up and replaced with poured concrete to create the new patio area. Colored stain was then carefully applied to the concrete to add character, depth, and a rustic feel. Rough cut, larch wood timbers bolted with tailor-made steel plating, draw inspiration from local barns and further enhance the rustic flavor.
The focal point on this project are the three custom crafted fire tables that are inspired by vintage industrial rolling carts. They feature wood planks, cast iron wheels, and iron brackets. Delconca porcelain stoneware was used for the table tops for its beauty and durability. Make sure to stop down to Mendon 64 on your next date night for amazing food, drinks, and cozy ambiance.
